Following a diverse career in retailing, the aerospace industry and advertising, Bill opened his own design studio in Hartford Connecticut specializing in design projects, annual reports, and corporate marketing programs.
In 1997, upon arriving in Melbourne, Bill immersed himself in the arts community studying with Frits Van Eeden, Bill Shultz and attending workshops with regional and nationally known artists. He is past president of The Artists Guild of Brevard and The Strawbridge Art League.
A traditional oil painter with impressionist influences, Bill’s subject matter reflects Florida’s Environment featuring wildlife, landscapes, marine sunrises, clouds and sea.
An avid plein air painter, Bill believes the outdoor painting experience can be transferred to the studio, and produces better results when painting from photos.
