“I paint because I am in love with painting. I feel a responsibility to my art and to myself to produce an image that will share with the viewer my feelings and thoughts. If through my art, I can make one more aware of nature and conscious of its beauty, then I feel I have been successful. If my watercolor makes the viewer reflect on his own feelings, then I feel the painting is successful.”
