I studied art and art history prior to moving to Florida in the 1970′s. I took drawing, painting and printing classes at Brevard Community College and Brevard Art Museum. In addition, I studied with nationally-recognized watercolor instructors such as Betty Lou Schlem, Don Andrews, Skip Lawrence, Gerald Brommer, Frank Webb, Janet and Steve Rogers, Jean Grastorf and Tony van Hasselt.

Primarily a watercolorist, I am exploring the use of watercolor in other media – in monotypes, collage and pastels. Seeking new challenges and personal growth are my objectives. My art is an attempt to define my place and create a signature distinctly my own
